The Tibetan Calendar, 29th Day of the 7th Month marks the anniversary of HE the 24th Chogye Trichen of Nalendra Monastery, Chogye Rinchen Khyentse Wangpo(1869 – 1927) from the Zhulu Kuzhang Aristocratic Family of the Che (Tongue of Dragon) Clan.
藏历七月二十九日是那烂陀寺第二十四任究给企仟法王、“戒“（龙舌）氏家族的夏鲁库桑贵族，究给仁钦钦哲旺波（1869-1927）纪念日。
His uncle was Ngawang Lodro Nyinpo, the 59th abbot of Ngor Ewam Choden.
他的叔叔是拿旺咯朵泞波，哦耶旺玖扽的第59任住持。
He had 3 younger brothers: Sonam Sengge Wangchuk a highly realised Dzogchen practitioners. Ngawang Khyenrab Jamphel Nyinpo served as 60th Ngor Abbot. Wangdu Norbu served as an abbot at Zhalu Monastery.
他有 3 位弟弟：索南僧格旺秋，一位修大圆满的成就者。阿旺钦饶江培宁波担任第 60 任哦巴住持。旺都诺布曾任扎鲁寺主持。
Although his parents wanted him to serve as an abbatial candidate at Zhalu Monastery, he was instead appointed by the Tibetan Government to be the abbatial candidate of Chogye Labrang through the ritual of the golden urn in Lhasa. He is recognised as a reincarnation of Nalendra’s founder Rongton Sheja Kunrik.
尽管他的父母希望他到扎鲁寺出家担任主持，但他却通过拉萨的金瓶法会，被西藏政府任命为究给宫的接班人。他被承认为那烂陀寺创始人荣扽协伽坤犁的转世。
He passed away in 1927 at 58 years old, and it was said that he emanated into his nephew the 25th Chogye Trichen(1920-2007) before his death, making the 25th his reincarnation.
他于1927年圆寂，享年58岁，据说他在去世前化入他的侄子第25世究给企仟（1920-2007），使第25世究给企仟成为他的转世。
Machig Labdron prohesized that he was a Maitreya incarnation.
马吉拉准预言他是弥勒的化身。
